Ralph brings over 20 years of experience to his consultations, but his journey into complimentary health services has a long family history. In fact, Ralph is the great-nephew of New Zealand's first registered female chiropractor! He followed in her footsteps as the first kinesiologist in South Canterbury over 25 years ago, and was also the first in the area to train in Bowen chiropractic therapy five years later.
10 years ago Ralph became the South Islands first trained NST practitioner, work which superseded the Bowtech Bowen technique. He is the only person in the area offering this type of osteopathy.

Vital Health Centre was established in Timaru in 1995, and has recently relocated to Christchurch. Run by Ralph, the the focus of our services is to help re-balance the body through physical therapy, quality supplementation and homeopathy.
Ralph is a qualified NST Bowen practitioner, having learnt from the experts in this field of chiropractics. He also has the distinction of having operated a computerised diagnostics system for the longest time in New Zealand.
